My Favorite Bench

My favorite bench— When you're not around.
I scream it out.
I don't care who hears.
My favorite bench— Keeps my ghosts near.
My favorite bench— My favorite bench— Pull the world off my shoulders.
Let the cold air through.
I left my worst self here.
And I came back new.
Came back new.
If the rain wants my face, let it take its time.
I've got this splintered altar.
