MERCY OR MEMORY?

Or do I compromise my truth just to grant a second chance to you?
Is it strength to let it go,
Or is it weakness not to show the scar?
Do we forgive to heal the soul, or do we burn to stay whole?
Mercy or memory, what sets us free?
Mercy or memory, who are we supposed to be?
Sunny, Sunny, to forgive doesn't wash the blood away.
Sunny, Sunny, or just hide it for another day?
