Heavy Rain

Cold through the coast; you pulled me close like you knew enough.
The road felt sealed, my pulse found a key; you said,
"Come on,
Come run with me." Then the clouds came down like a sheep pulled over; I heard my name in the runoff.
Hold me closer,
Let it lift me; watch the grid off and unhook me.
