I’m Finding My Voice

After all these years.
I'm finding my voice, hear me now, I'm done with the hush,
I'm done with the ache.
I'm finding my voice, oh, and I won't break.
I wore that silence well like a Sunday coat,
Smiled through the heavy days, kept my burden remote.
But the tears had a way of carving out a lane,
And every scar I hit started saying my name.
Now I feel that fire move under my skin,
