Rise again

The pain will fade, the scars will stay,
But they remind me of the price I paid to find my way.
I'm growing every day.
I'm going every day.
I've walked through valleys darker than the midnight sky.
I've stumbled on the stones of doubt, I question why.
But every wrong direction taught me something true: the road that I was on was never meant for who I grew into.
I planted seeds of patience in the garden of my mind,
Watered them with tears, and left the past behind.
Now I see the blossoms where the weeds used to grow,
