Let It Ring Sister

Then you hung up on me and I've been talking to the phone all day.
Every buzz, I hope it's you, and it's a sale, a bill,
A voice I never knew.
I dial your name and let it ring, nobody picks up,
Not a thing.
I fought you for the house and every floor,
Now I'd give it all for one word, sister, one word.
