Last Day of Summer

One more moment in the glow before the autumn winds will blow.
Last day of summer, let the love inside you flow.
I walk along the empty shore,
The waves they come and they implore.
Remember all the days we had, our good, our bad,
Our happy side.
The ice cream melting in the sun,
The races that were always won.
The bonfires burning in the dark,
The fireflies that left their mark.
The memories are sweet and true,
The sky is painted gold and blue.
