Movie Night

Hand me the remote,
Don't move; let the little world fade out.
We settle into the glow.
Movie night, stay right here.
Bestie, bestie, stay right here.
Movie night, slow and sweet.
Bestie, bestie, save my spot.
Movie night, bestie, bestie.
Cold soda in a red cup, we pause at every twist.
You say "no way" and laugh at every close-up kiss.
Microwave corn still warm, crumbs on the pillowcase.
