A Year from Now

When I gather myself, piece by piece,
And my eyes start to shine and release,
Yesterday's drama will shrink to a fleck.
Every story has its year after check.
When all my friends come over to stay,
And you won't top up on my news feed today,
The truly happy don't take revenge,
They know every story has its year after the grow.
Doors are still not fully closed,
But no one knocks there anymore.
Who's to blame?
I won't suppose I can't surrender like before.
