Heavy Stones

Would it save what's left of them?
I'm not asking for the sun,
Just a shadow of what we've become.
Pull me under, hold me there,
Let me rest in your saltwater air.
I don't need to reach the shore, just to feel you once more.
Cold lines running through my veins, tide is coming,
Washing away our name.
I built a harbor for your ghost, but you needed the coast.
Unsafe words are heavy stones, I carry them under my bones.
If I call you through the static tonight,
