There's A Feeling I Get

It isn't really sadness, it isn't really joy,
It's just a feeling I know is mine.
There's a feeling I get I can't quite explain it.
When December comes around and the lights are on the houses,
Some people feel the magic, some remember being young,
Some just want the whole thing over,
Some can't wait for what's to come.
I wonder sometimes if a feeling is a memory or if it lives somewhere else,
Waiting for a reason to find its way back to me.
There's a feeling I get and nobody else does.
