When the Red Curtain Falls

Still the rhythm kept a fire in me.
Still the morning came and made me move.
Every scar became a measure.
Every loss became a land.
Every hand that stayed beside me put a little more light in mine.
When the red curtain falls, I will carry your grace.
When the red curtain falls, I will remember this place.
I gave you my heart.
You gave me a song.
I walked these miles with you all along.
When the red curtain falls, let the music remain.
I have sung for the lonely in the late shift.
