Deleted Memories

I trace the cracks upon the ceiling's gloom that formed the day you finally set me free.
And though you're gone,
The silence still repeats the echoes of your laughter and your lies.
I'm sorting through these shattered dusty keepsakes beneath these heavy,
Unforgiving skies.
So delete the memories, one by one.
Let the pain erase what we have done.
Burn the pictures,
Let the pages fade in the darkness that this love has made.
