Streetlight serenade

Leather on my shoulder, rhythm in my stride,
Ain't nobody gonna take this groove right.
City's like a circuit, I'm a spark in the wire; turn it up,
Baby, set the night on fire.
We can make the streetlight serenade dancing when the shadows fade,
Feel the funk inside your chest.
Let the rhythm do the rest; streetlight serenade,
Hold me tight.
We can groove until the morning light; turn the bass up,
Let it play, we're gonna funk the night away.
