This is the rain

I'm left behind.
Raindrops hide the tears I've cried,
But the storm can't heal what's inside.
Every heartbeat echoes your song,
But without you I don't belong.
I'm lost in the rain, can't find my way.
Your love was the light that kept me safe.
Now the skies are crying, and so am I in the rain.
I'm left behind.
