Never Said It Out Loud

Never said in not one word,
"Let you take the bags and close the door,
I'll let you go unheard.
Every mile I practiced it, every light I ran it through.
Then I'm standing in the doorway,
And there's nothing left to say to you.
I never wanted you to leave.
I never wanted this to end.
I should've said it out loud.
Now I'm saying it to the wheel again.
