Your Shadow

Like grains of sand that never come undone.
You left me in the desert alone; half-charged battery on my phone.
I see bottles, skies too far,
Counting cracks across my heart.
Every step just turns to past, dust of everything we had.
You left me buried in the hurt and I still taste you in the dirt.
