Forgotten Flowers

I can't quite say the words, of what has faded far away,
An unfinished song, an unfinished verse,
Only one forgotten bouquet left behind on a bench.
A dream awakened gently at the dawn,
And you will feel these words when night is gone.
Now you're the only one left in this story,
And you'll realize you were right all along.
You'll understand that I'm still beside you,
A fire never completely died.
You'll see a cloud up in the sky above you,
Shaped like a heart, the one you took from me.
