Cobalt

Static in my lungs,
But I answer louder; shattered glass confesses what I am made of.
If the sky comes down,
I will hold the weight; turn the wreckage into something I create.
I am the requiem, I am the rising wire, Cobalt requiem,
Cobalt requiem, burning through the quiet.
Tear the dark wide open,
Let the current sing; I am the requiem, I am everything.
