The Soul Jazz Era - Bottom of the Ninth Son, 320 kbps, 28.10.2026
Текст песни
Saturday came up bright.
The cooler sat there by the door.
Then the foreman rang again and asked me,
"Can you stay for 4?" I hung up slow and looked down at my boots.
I didn't have a clue what to tell a kid who counted down the days,
But I knew what I'd do.
Some nights the bills add up to more than what a man can say.
I know that's not a reason, son,
It's just the price of the day.
So I'll call you after the 7th, tell me every play you made,
And I'll tell you what I missed and the shift that got in the way.
